An Exciting Time of Growth for Peters & Kappenman

Peters, Revnew, Kappenman & Anderson, P.A. is pleased to announce several exciting changes.

Earlier this year, Greg Peters and Tom Revnew purchased founding Shareholder Doug Seaton’s interest in the firm. Over the next few years, Doug will continue to be active in the firm and will advise and work with clients, albeit on a reduced schedule.

The firm is also pleased to announce that our long-time colleagues, Martin Kappenman and Corie Tarara, have been named Shareholders.

Martin Kappenman is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the University of Notre Dame Law School. He has 13 years of labor and employment experience. Martin devotes the majority of his practice to litigating non-competition agreements, shareholder disputes, pension liability claims, construction disputes and defending employers in various discrimination and wrongful termination matters. He advises employers as they work through high risk personnel decisions to minimize potential liability.

Corie Tarara is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the University of Tulsa Law School. She has 10 years of labor and employment experience. Corie’s practice is focused on wage and hour audits and litigation, prevailing wage matters, DOL compliance issues and immigration as well as corporate work and general employment advice and litigation. She is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice, the Secretary for the Federal Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section, and Editor of the FBA’s The Labouring Oar.

The firm welcomes three new associates.

Late last year, Andrew Chase joined the firm with 4 years of wage and hour, and employment litigation experience. Andy is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and William Mitchell Law School.

Erik Mosvick recently joined the firm. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Law School Magna Cum Laude. Since graduation, Erik has worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Lois Conroy, Fourth Judicial District in Hennepin County.

Also recently joining the firm, Michael Link is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead and the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mike joins the firm with 5 years of experience defending businesses from a wide variety of claims and will join the firm’s active litigation practice.
